York Hospital’s Peterson Family Surgery Center mixes advanced technology with personalized care in a comfortable, supportive environment. The center is equipped with five surgical suites staffed by a dedicated and highly trained team of specialists who cares for patients preoperatively, during surgery, and in recovery.

The surgery center is staffed by board-certified surgeons and anesthesiologists, highly skilled physician assistants, first assistants, RNs, surgical technicians, central sterile staff, a dedicated nurse navigator and support staff. Our center is well-equipped with the latest advances in technology and instrumentation for the more than 3500 surgical procedures annually in the following specialties:

Our surgeons work with our team of anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists (CRNA’s) to help ease our patients’ pain and discomfort before, during and after their procedure. Amenities like private waiting and recovery rooms, warm blankets, and room service create a comfortable atmosphere.

Endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and other gastroenterological procedures are performed in a relaxing, soothing and comfortable environment at York Hospital’s surgery center.
